Monforte d’Alba is located in the heart of the Langhe area and borders with Dogliani, Barolo and Serralunga d’Alba; an area not only of important red wines and white truffles but also a place so well portrayed in the of great writers like Cesare Pavese and Giuseppe Fenoglio.
The Festival Jazz of Monforte d’Alba, Monforte in Jazz, officially born in 1996, boasts a “collection” of renowned guests from Diana Krall to Mario Biondi, from Manhattan Transfer to Paolo Conte and every year the event starts ath the end of June and the performances continue until the first weekend of August in the Horzowsky Auditorium under the summer stars.
